Venus Legacy Body Contouring & Cellulite Treatment
Cellulite is the term most commonly used to describe the appearance of dimpled skin. This is caused by fat deposits that are just below the surface of the skin. It is estimated that close to one-third of all Americans have cellulite – totaling more than 100 million people. Cellulite is said to be caused by a few different factors including hormones, genetics, diet or lifestyle factors such as stress or lack of exercise.
Enhanced Images Medical uses the Venus Legacy device to treat cellulite. This is an excellent aesthetic solution for our clients of all body and skin types. For cellulite treatment, the laser delivers a comfortable mechanical massage/rhythmic aspiration which distends in the skin in various directions to enhance microcirculation—thereby increasing skin elasticity and improving lymphatic drainage. Six diode lasers penetrate tissue to stimulate fibroblasts for collagen production—yielding smoother, healthier-looking skin.

Common questions & answers about cellulite treatments at Enhanced Images Medical:
What is cellulite?
Cellulite is when fat deposits are trapped just under the surface of the skin causing the skin to have a dimpled appearance or “orange peel look”.
When will I notice the difference, and how long will it last?
Although some results can be seen after just one treatment, a series of treatments is recommended in order to achieve optimal results. The treatment series can be anywhere from 8-10 treatments performed twice a week. The amount of time the results will last do vary depending on each clients lifestyle/weight gain/etc. Monthly maintenance treatments are also sometimes recommended.
Is the treatment painful?
No, in fact, people say it is similar to a deep tissue massage.
Is there any downtime?
No. Following treatment, patients usually return to their jobs and normal activities immediately.
